Thanks Giving Speech
Hello and this is eric. Eric is me and me is Eric.
Chinese don’t like to say thanks, but that doesn’t mean we are not thankful, we all know that. Never do I give thanks much and I’m glad that I have this opportunity here this evening, expressing my gratitude to students, friends, colleagues and families at home. Something that I should have said before, many times.
Firstly I want to thank students for your presence here today, for the hardwork and support to us ever since this school was founded, how many times that you shall have to cancel your gatherings, get up earlier, plan ahead so as to have classes. Although there are lots of no shows, I know you didn’t mean that.
I am also grateful to our dear teachers and study advisors, it’s your contribution and dedication that helpped KXG Top the Satisfaction Survey among the 16 Meten centers in the 3rd quarter, 2009. Thank you, Flora, James, Vivienne, Helen, Devin, Robert and all other peers, Thank you, all this couldn’t be done without you and you know I am proud of you too.
Thanks also go to my parents, to whom I owe a great deal of gratitude; My brother and me have been bad sons these years and we seldom call, but you know this in heart that we love you, very much so, and we really really do;
I want to say thanks to my friends as well, few they are, while means a lot, thank all those years that we have been through, all those happiness and sorrows.
Lastly I also want to thank those ladies who had turned down my past proposals and affections. It was their strong determination that finally lead me to complete freedom and desperate loneliness; I now think they made the right decision, as I was blessed to have met the other day, the most beautiful girl who I feel like I’ve known all my life.
Dear friends,
Let’s be more grateful for what we have in our lives.
Let’s say thank you, I love you to our parents.
Let’s say thank you to our friends, new ones, good old ones;
Let’s say thank you to our friends, new ones, good old ones;
Let’s say thank you when a favor is answered, a helping hand is offered;
Let’s say thank you to teachers when a question is cleared, a class is done;
Let’s say thank you whenever there is love around us;
For World cannot be more beautiful without you.
